Child Abuse Prevention Donations & Sponsorship
SAFEchild's mission can only be achieved in partnership with caring people in our community. Your support enables us to continue to offer hope and skills to vulnerable Wake County families. Your contribution also demonstrates the high value you place on the well-being of children and reminds us that we are not alone in our efforts to prevent one of life's greatest tragedies - child abuse. Your contribution may be made in honor or in memory of a loved one or special friend. Gifts to SAFEchild are 100 percent tax-deductible.

Philanthropy is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in SAFEchild, we declare that all donors have rights. Workplace Campaigns
Target your gift through your employer's participation in the State Employees Combined Campaign or other workplace giving opportunities.

State Employee Combined Campaign
If you are a state employee, your employer will provide specific information on workplace giving, along with designation forms. Our Combined Campaign ID number is 2540. SAFEchild will also provide speakers for state employee groups upon request. -
Other workplace campaigns
SAFEchild is listed with several workplace giving campaigns. Please check the list of agencies to see if SAFEchild is eligible to receive designated gifts through your workplace campaign.
Matching Gifts
Many companies provide matching gift programs, doubling or tripling an employee's contribution to a charitable organization. Check with your company's human resources department to find out its matching gift policy. Matching gift employers will provide a form for you to fill out and send to us along with your donation. We will verify your gift and return the form to your company, which then issues a matching gift contribution to SAFEchild.

Honors Program
SAFEchild offers a meaningful way to give the small but significant gifts you need throughout the year - religious celebrations, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, Mother's and Father's Days, Teacher Appreciation Week, Secretary's Day - any day. Simply write a check to SAFEchild for $20 for each person you want to honor and list their names and addresses. SAFEchild will send a gift card to each honoree you designate.
Corporate Funding Levels

Inspiring Friend - $15,000 +
SAFEchild will:- Promote your company as a SAFEchild sponsor by placing your company name and logo on our web site, announcing that your company is a corporate sponsor with a short statement about the business and a link to your web site.
- Mount a permanent plaque at SAFEchild thanking your company for confidence in the work we have done to prevent child abuse in Wake County - and have yet to do.
- Publicize your company prominently in SAFEchild's Annual Report that will be distributed to individuals and corporations at the end of the current fiscal year.
- Feature your company with an article in SAFEchild's online Scoop newsletter distributed to approximately 1,200 online subscribers.
- Place logo on volunteer training materials.
- Your company will receive publicity as a sponsor of all special events held during the current fiscal year. Special events may include: Fine Wine Gala at Cary's Fresh Market; Bowl-A-Rama Family Outing; Five Course Fine Dining Evening at a local restaurant; April Volunteer Celebration; and the bi-annual Chair Auction or Valentine Gala.
- Provide your company with ten tickets to the "Take a Seat for Kids' Sake" Chair Auction or Valentine Gala.
- Provide one parent education seminar for your company employees during the partnership year (if so desired).
- Submit parenting tips for your company's newsletter or web site.
- Work one-on-one with your company to accommodate, as much as possible, any other recognition opportunities.

SAFEchild will:- Promote your company as a SAFEchild sponsor by placing your company name and logo on our web site, announcing that your company is a corporate sponsor with a short statement about the business and a link to your web site.
