Your donation gives hope and skills to Wake County families by funding parenting classes, new mother mentoring, Funny Tummy Feelings, and the SAFEchild Advocacy Center. Gifts to SAFEchild are 100% tax-deductible.
Honors
SAFEchild offers a meaningful way to give the small but significant gifts you need for teachers, clients, neighbors, and family. Cards are available for $20 per card or 6 for $100. You may enclose the names and addresses of honorees with your check, or give instructions in the comments field of the PayPal page. We’ll do the rest! For large orders, contact Nancy Bromhal, nbromhal@safechildnc.org or call 919-743-6140.
Gifts of Stock
SAFEchild accepts gifts of stock. If you would like to donate stock to SAFEchild please call Clay Jackson at 919-829-2060
Workplace Campaigns
Target your gift through your employer’s participation in the State Employees Combined Campaign or other workplace giving opportunities.
-
State Employee Combined Campaign
If you are a state employee, your employer will provide specific information on workplace giving, along with designation forms. Our Combined Campaign ID number is 2540. SAFEchild will also provide speakers for state employee groups upon request. -
Other workplace campaigns
SAFEchild is listed with several workplace giving campaigns. Please check the list of agencies to see if SAFEchild is eligible to receive designated gifts through your workplace campaign.
Matching Gifts
Many companies provide matching gift programs, doubling or tripling an employee’s contribution to a charitable organization. Check with your company’s human resources department to find out its matching gift policy. Matching gift employers will provide a form for you to fill out and send to us along with your donation. We will verify your gift and return the form to your company, which then issues a matching gift contribution to SAFEchild.
Planned Giving
Planned giving benefits you and your family and helps children and families in Wake County. For information on planned giving opportunities, call Marjorie Menestres at 919-743-6140 or email mmenestres@safechildnc.org.
ChildWalk
In 1992, SAFEchild began a challenging journey down the sometimes uncharted path of child abuse prevention. Since then, thousands of Wake County families have learned the skills needed to nurture their children.
Commemorate your loved ones and those who have made it possible for SAFEchild to break the cycle of abuse that exists in many fragile families with a personalized brick on the ChildWalk leading up to SAFEchild’s front door. The bricks on the walkway symbolize the strength and support all families need.
Each brick, engraved with your personal message, can be reserved for a 100% tax deductible donation of $100.00.
